I have a long tradition, when a painting or an ink or pencil drawing is completed, of putting 4 linked Ss (taken from my surname SISSONS), together somewhere on the picture; the 4 Ss are small and well hidden. Sometimes, they are joined to represent a piece of rope, sometimes they are separated, as on this beautiful Saker falcon. They are hard to find, but once spotted, you'll wonder why they couldn't be found sooner.
